Jennie Hagerty Appointed to Pennsylvania Children’s Trust Fund Board

The Mercy Center for Women is proud to announce that Executive Director Jennie Hagerty has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) Board by Governor Josh Shapiro. Her nomination was unanimously confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate.

The Pennsylvania Children’s Trust Fund, administered by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect across the Commonwealth. The CTF Board fulfills this mission primarily through grantmaking to local communities, supporting evidence-based and research-informed programs that promote child and family well-being. These programs emphasize primary and secondary prevention—stopping abuse before it begins.

Senator Dan Laughlin serves as a legislative member of the Fund, helping to guide its impactful work in safeguarding children and strengthening families.
