Mercy Center for Women Serves Homemade Soup to Homeless

The Mercy Center for Women held a free soup buffet for anyone who needed it during this cold weather in downtown Erie.

The event brought together staff and clients from the Mercy Center to help feed the homeless in Perry Square on Wednesday, February 14.

People had a choice between 14 different soups, as well as cookies, bread, and fresh fruit available for the taking, no questions asked, not only to celebrate the start of Lent, but Valentine's Day as well.
